Life could be very
disappointing sometimes. Expectations may not even show a clue of occurring. But
at-times, the failure is the way to shape your life for the best. You may have
a plan, an idea or a goal but only God knows the end result.
Proverbs 16:9
The heart of man plans his way, but the
LORD establishes his steps
Let’s consider this
scenario, A serious God-fearing man gets a job after a long wait .He starts
working and when he thought everything was going on well, he gets fired for a
crime he did not commit. He gets frustrated and asks himself why God allows
such a thing to happen to him. After all his sacrifice and hard work at church. why must he fail?
The next day, he was
watching a news broadcasting and what he heard was that, the company has collapsed
and not a single soul survived. It was then that he realized the magnitude of God's love for him. He then knew he is worshiping a God who can fire him from work
in order to save his life. So many times in life, Christians question
God for some happenings in life that they wanted it differently. Some doors are closed on purpose.
We refuse
to recognize how God saves us in every little second that passes by. But we
only see God’s protection after we go into trouble and we are saved. We are
protected from so many things within the day but we only appreciate God when we
fall victim to the devil and are saved. We always thank God for healing us
after being sick but how many times do you thank God for preventing you from
getting sick?
You may have lost your job, dropped out of school, lost someone
in your life, or even worse. But your life now is a gift which is worth more
than whatever loss you have suffered. Give God the opportunity to work through you. Leave it and
let God handle it. When the time is right, you will be restored and you will
know that God has you in His heart and He wants the best for you.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," says the
LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future
and a hope.
